Otrivin Næsespray

Otrivin is a well-known brand of decongestant nasal spray containing xylometazoline. Originally developed in Switzerland, the brand has been a staple in household medicine cabinets for decades. It is designed to provide rapid relief from nasal congestion associated with colds, hay fever, or sinusitis by narrowing the blood vessels in the nasal area.

While the brand was historically associated with Novartis, it became part of a joint venture with GSK Consumer Healthcare. In 2022, Haleon was spun off from GSK as an independent company, making it the current ultimate owner of the Otrivin brand. Manufacturing takes place in several locations globally, including specialized pharmaceutical facilities in Europe, to serve international markets like Denmark.
