Nilens Jord is a renowned Danish beauty brand founded in 1982 by Lars Jacobsson in Farum, Denmark. The brand gained significant recognition for its 'Antik' series and its pioneering approach to perfume-free and allergy-friendly cosmetics, becoming the first Danish brand to remove perfume from all its products. Over the decades, it has established itself as a leader in the 'Clean Beauty' segment within the Nordic market.

Historically operated under the company Kosmolet A/S, Nilens Jord underwent a major change in ownership in 2019. It was acquired by Matas A/S, Denmark's largest health and beauty retailer. This acquisition integrated the brand into a larger retail ecosystem while maintaining its specialized identity in hypoallergenic skincare and makeup. Most products continue to be developed and manufactured with a strong focus on European standards, often carrying certifications like the AllergyCertified label.
