Loacker is a renowned South Tyrolean brand founded in 1925 by Alfons Loacker. Originally established as a small patisserie in Bolzano, Italy, the brand has grown into a global leader in the production of high-quality wafers and chocolates. The 'Classic Napolitaner' is one of its most iconic products, named after the 'Napoli' hazelnuts originally used for the cream filling.

Manufacturing remains rooted in the heart of the Alps, with the company operating two main production facilities: one in Auna di Sotto, Italy, and another in Heinfels, Austria. These high-altitude locations were chosen to utilize the pure air and water essential to their secret family recipe.

To this day, Loacker remains a family-owned business, managed by the third generation of the Loacker family.
