Isbjørn Lite is a gluten-free pilsner produced by Macks Ølbryggeri, the northernmost brewery in the world. Originally established in Tromsø, Norway, the brand has a long history dating back to 1877. The 'Isbjørn' (Polar Bear) series is one of their most popular product lines, and the 'Lite' version is specifically designed to be low in carbohydrates and gluten-free while maintaining the character of a traditional Norwegian pilsner.
The product is manufactured in Norway, specifically at Mack's modern production facility in Nordkjosbotn, where they moved their main production from Tromsø in 2012. Mack remains an independent, family-owned brewery, which is a point of pride for the brand, as many other large breweries have been acquired by international conglomerates. It is currently owned and managed by the fifth generation of the Mack family, maintaining its status as a cornerstone of Norwegian beverage culture.
