Cinzano is an iconic Italian brand of vermouth with a history dating back to 1757, when brothers Giovanni Giacomo and Carlo Stefano Cinzano opened their herbalist shop in Turin. They became famous for their 'vermouth rosso,' which combined aromatic herbs from the Italian Alps in a secret recipe that remains a cornerstone of the brand's identity.
Throughout the 20th century, Cinzano expanded globally and became known not only for its fortified wines but also for its pioneering advertising campaigns. Today, its heritage is preserved under the ownership of the Campari Group. While its heart remains in Italy, where the core production and blending occur, the brand has manufacturing and bottling partnerships in various regions, including South America, to serve international markets.
Since 1999, the brand has been part of the Gruppo Campari portfolio. This acquisition solidified Cinzano's position as a premium global aperitif, benefiting from the extensive distribution network of one of the world's leading spirits companies.
