HMD Global, which markets its products as HMD (Human Mobile Devices), is a Finnish technology company that became prominent as the exclusive licensee for Nokia-branded mobile phones and tablets. Founded in 2016, the company was established by former Nokia executives with the goal of reviving the iconic brand through a partnership with Foxconn's subsidiary, FIH Mobile.

While the brand is headquartered in Espoo, Finland, its manufacturing is primarily outsourced to facilities in China, Vietnam, and India through its manufacturing partner FIH Mobile. In recent years, HMD has shifted its strategy to include its own HMD-branded devices alongside the Nokia portfolio, emphasizing repairability and sustainability. The company's ownership remains private, consisting of a consortium of investors and management, independent of Nokia Corporation.
