Marbú is a renowned biscuit brand under the Artiach umbrella, specifically known for its 'Centeno' (rye) variety which emphasizes high fiber content and 100% whole grain rye flour. The Artiach brand has a deep history in Spain, originating in Bilbao in 1907.
Over the decades, ownership has shifted through several multinational corporations, including Nabisco, United Biscuits, and Kraft Foods. In 2008, it was acquired by Adam Foods (formerly part of Nutrexpa). Today, Marbú biscuits are primarily manufactured in the Fabrica de Artzentales in the Basque Country, Spain, maintaining its heritage as one of the most traditional Spanish biscuit manufacturers. The brand is now part of the Adam Foods portfolio, a leader in the Spanish and Portuguese food markets.
