Argeta Chicken Spread

Argeta is one of the world's leading brands of pâté, known primarily for its chicken and fish-based spreads. The brand's history began in 1957 in Izola, Slovenia (then part of Yugoslavia), under the Droga Kolinska company. It was originally developed as a way to utilize high-quality chicken meat and was refined into the specific 'Argeta' brand in 1963.

Today, Argeta is owned by the Atlantic Grupa, a major Croatian multinational food and distribution company that acquired Droga Kolinska in 2010. While its heart remains in Slovenia, the brand has expanded its manufacturing footprint significantly to meet global demand, operating specialized production facilities in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and even the United States (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania) to serve the North American market. The brand is celebrated for its 'free-form' recipe, as it is produced without preservatives, artificial colors, or flavor enhancers.
