Kim's snacks

Kim's is Denmark's leading brand of snacks, particularly famous for its potato chips and nuts. The brand's history began in 1961 when it was established by Odense Marcipanfabrik. Originally named 'Kim', the name was changed to 'Kim's' in 1965 after a lawsuit regarding trademark rights.

Over the decades, the brand became a household name in Denmark, partly due to iconic advertising campaigns. In 1980, the company moved its production to Søndersø on Funen, where it remains today. Since 2013, the brand has been under the ownership of the Norwegian Orkla Group, which integrated Kim's into its Orkla Confectionery & Snacks division. Despite its Norwegian ownership, Kim's maintains a strong Danish identity and continues its large-scale production within Denmark.
