Sensodyne is a globally recognized oral health brand specializing in products for sensitive teeth. It was originally launched in 1961 by Block Drug, an American company based in Brooklyn, New York. In 2001, Block Drug was acquired by the British pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).
Starting in 2022, following the demerger of GSK's consumer healthcare business, Sensodyne became a flagship brand under Haleon plc. Haleon is now the ultimate owner of the brand, headquartered in the United Kingdom. While the brand has its roots in the United States, manufacturing is spread across multiple global locations including the UK, Slovakia, and India to serve different international markets. The product shown features labeling for the Spanish and Portuguese markets.
