Odd Molly is a Swedish fashion brand known for its distinctive, bohemian-inspired aesthetic and colorful patterns. The brand was originally created by Per Holknekt, Karin Jimfelt-Ghatan, and Christer Andersson, drawing inspiration from a girl named Molly who lived a free-spirited life in Venice Beach.
Starting as a local niche label, it grew into a globally recognized fashion house. Over the years, the company has undergone several ownership changes to navigate the evolving retail landscape. Most recently, the brand became part of the MBRS Group (formerly Frontline). While the brand's heart and design reside in Stockholm, Sweden, the production is primarily outsourced to specialized textile manufacturers in countries such as Portugal, China, and India to manage the intricate embroidery and knitting techniques that define the brand.
