Founded in 1958 in Bolton, England, by Joe and Jeff Foster, Reebok's roots trace back to J.W. Foster and Sons, which was established in 1895. The brand became a global powerhouse in the 1980s, particularly known for its aerobic shoes and high-performance athletic gear.

Over the decades, Reebok has seen several shifts in ownership. After being acquired by the German sportswear giant Adidas in 2005 to compete with rivals, the brand underwent a significant transition. In early 2022, the brand was officially acquired by Authentic Brands Group (ABG), a move that signaled a new era of expansion and diverse retail partnerships.

Currently, Reebok products are manufactured in multiple countries across Asia, including Vietnam, China, and Indonesia, to leverage global supply chain efficiencies. The brand continues to focus on its heritage in both fitness and street culture under the guidance of its American-based owner.
