Spindrift Sparkling Water

Spindrift was founded in 2010 by Bill Creelman in Charlestown, Massachusetts. The brand carved out a unique niche in the crowded sparkling water market by being the first to use only real squeezed fruit as a sweetener and colorant, rather than 'natural flavors' or synthetic additives. This commitment to simple, transparent ingredients helped the brand grow rapidly from a local Northeast favorite to a national staple in the United States.

While Spindrift remained an independent company for many years, its success eventually led to a major acquisition. In late 2024, the brand was acquired by Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP), a move intended to bolster KDP's presence in the health-conscious sparkling water category. Despite the change in ownership, the brand continues to focus on its original mission of utilizing real fruit sourced from family farms.

Today, Spindrift is manufactured primarily across various facilities in the United States to ensure freshness and proximity to its distribution networks. Under the umbrella of Keurig Dr Pepper, the brand benefits from massive distribution power while maintaining its distinct identity as a premium, fruit-forward alternative to traditional seltzers.
