The brand Soalheiro was founded in 1982 by the Cerdeira family, who were pioneers in the commercial planting of Alvarinho grapes in Melgaço. Today, the estate remains a family-owned business, maintaining a strong commitment to organic viticulture and biodiversity. The wine is produced and bottled at the Quinta de Soalheiro estate, ensuring close control over the entire production cycle from vineyard to bottle.
