Over several decades, BiFi became a staple snack across Europe, particularly known for its iconic orange packaging and 'the original' flavor profile.

Historically, the brand was part of the Unilever portfolio for many years. However, in 2014, Unilever sold its meat snack business to Jack Link's, an American global snack company famous for its beef jerky. The production primarily remains in Germany, specifically at the Ansbach facility in Bavaria, ensuring the traditional quality of the smoked salami remains consistent under the new American ownership.
