Anusol is a globally recognized healthcare brand specializing in the treatment of hemorrhoids and related symptoms. Its origins date back several decades, originally developed to provide localized symptomatic relief through soothing and antiseptic properties. Historically, the brand was part of the Pfizer Consumer Healthcare portfolio and later passed to Johnson & Johnson during large-scale industry consolidations.
In recent years, the ownership of Anusol has been divided by region. In North America (specifically the United States), the brand is part of the Church & Dwight portfolio. In many other international markets, including the United Kingdom and parts of Europe, it remained under the consumer healthcare umbrella of Johnson & Johnson, which eventually spun off its consumer health division into a new independent entity named Kenvue. Manufacturing occurs in various pharmaceutical-grade facilities across North America and Europe to satisfy regional regulatory requirements.
