Founded in 1988 in Chongqing, China, Hisun Motors (Chongqing Huansong Industrial) has grown from a manufacturer of motorcycle parts into one of the world's largest providers of all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and utility terrain vehicles (UTVs). While historically acting as a private-label manufacturer for major global powersports brands, the company has successfully transitioned into a major independent brand with a significant international footprint.

Today, the brand's production is vertically integrated, with major operations based in China. However, to support its massive growth in the North American market, Hisun established Hisun Motors Corp., USA in McKinney, Texas. This 300,000-square-foot facility serves as a critical hub for final assembly, technical support, and parts distribution, ensuring that vehicles are tuned and finished specifically for Western consumers and industry standards.

Ownership remains under the umbrella of the Chongqing Huansong Industrial (Group) Co., Ltd., which continues to lead the brand's research and development. The company is recognized for delivering a wide range of gasoline and electric powersports products, positioning itself as an innovative and high-value competitor to established Japanese and North American brands.
