Arabia Moomin Mug - Love

The Arabia Moomin mugs are a beloved Finnish design staple, first introduced by the ceramic manufacturer Arabia in the 1950s and later relaunched in the 1990s. The 'Love' mug, featuring Moomintroll and Snorkmaiden in a hug, is one of the most iconic and longest-running designs in the collection, based on the original comic strips by Tove Jansson.

While the brand is deeply rooted in Finnish heritage and the products were originally manufactured at the Arabia factory in Helsinki, production was moved to Thailand in 2016 following the closure of the Finnish plant. Today, the brand is owned by Fiskars Group, a global home products company founded in 1649 that manages several high-end Nordic design brands. The Moomin characters themselves are licensed from Moomin Characters Ltd, ensuring the authenticity of the artwork on every piece.
