This is because China is the native habitat for the specific fast-growing bamboo used in their products, allowing the company to process the raw materials close to their source to minimize the carbon footprint associated with transporting bulk raw bamboo. The brand is strictly vegan-certified and focuses on plastic-free packaging.

Today, The Cheeky Panda remains an independent company, having grown through various crowdfunding rounds and private investments. It has evolved from a small startup into a global B-Corp certified business, distributing its range of toilet tissue, wipes, and nappies across Europe, North America, and beyond.
