Naim Audio is a prestigious British manufacturer of high-end hifi systems, including amplifiers, network music players, and digital-to-analog converters. Founded in 1973 by Julian Vereker in Salisbury, England, the brand has remained a cornerstone of the audiophile world for decades, known for its focus on pace, rhythm, and timing in sound reproduction.
While the brand holds deep roots in British engineering and continues to design and manufacture many of its high-end flagship products at its headquarters in Salisbury, its corporate ownership has evolved. In 2011, Naim merged with the French speaker manufacturer Focal-JMLab to form Focal & Naim, which eventually became part of the Vervent Audio Group.
Today, the brand is under the ultimate ownership of the Vervent Audio Group, a holding company headquartered in France. This group was formed to preserve the heritage of both the British and French audio pioneers while leveraging global distribution and research capabilities for the high-end audio market.
