Baxters is a quintessentially British food brand with deep roots in Scotland. The journey began in 1868 when George Baxter opened a small grocery shop in Fochabers, Moray. His wife, Margaret Baxter, started making jams and jellies in the back of the shop, laying the foundation for what would become a global food empire.

Today, the brand is renowned for its premium tinned soups, jams, and condiments. The Carrot & Butter Bean variety shown is part of their vegetarian range, often associated with the 'Audrey Baxter' signature line. Most of the production remains centered in the United Kingdom, specifically at their historic Moray site in Scotland, though the company has expanded its manufacturing capabilities internationally to include sites in Poland and Australia to serve global markets.

Baxters remains a family-owned enterprise, currently presided over by the fourth generation of the Baxter family. It is one of the few large-scale UK food producers that has maintained its independence and family-led governance into the 21st century.
