Last Resort AB footwear

Last Resort AB is an independent skateboarding footwear brand launched in 2020 by Pontus Alv, the founder of Polar Skate Co., and Sami Tolppi. The brand was established with a focus on creating simple, functional skate shoes designed by skateboarders, for skateboarders, intentionally avoiding large corporate backing and complex over-branded logos.

Based in Sweden, the brand operates under a philosophy of simplicity and creative freedom. While the design and creative direction are managed in Sweden, the manufacturing of their vulcanized footwear is primarily based in Vietnam to achieve the technical quality required for high-performance skateboarding. The brand remains privately owned by its founders, maintaining its status as a grassroots alternative in the global skate shoe market.
