Mila Yogurt

Mila is a premium dairy brand deeply rooted in the South Tyrol (Alto Adige) region of northern Italy. The brand name itself is a portmanteau of 'Milch' (milk in German) and 'Latte' (milk in Italian), reflecting the bilingual culture of its alpine home. All Mila products are manufactured using 100% South Tyrolean milk, sourced from small mountain farms located at high altitudes.

The brand is owned by the cooperative Latemar (now known as Latte delle Montagne / Bergmilch Südtirol), which was formed by the merger of several regional dairy cooperatives. They specialize in high-quality yogurt, hay milk, and cheese products. Because it is a cooperative, the brand is owned by the 2,300+ local farmers who supply the milk, ensuring that production remains strictly regional and follows traditional alpine methods.
