Granado is one of Brazil's most traditional and historic pharmaceutical brands, founded in 1870 by José Antônio Coxito Granado in Rio de Janeiro. The brand originally gained prominence as the official pharmacy of the Brazilian Imperial Family. This specific product belongs to the 'Pink' line, which is designed for intensive body care with a focus on feminine aesthetics and high-quality botanical ingredients.
While the brand maintains its century-old heritage and vintage branding, it underwent a significant modernization after being acquired by Christopher Freeman in the 1990s. In 2016, the Spanish group Puig, a major global player in fashion and fragrances, acquired a minority stake in the company. Granado continues to manufacture its products primarily in Brazil, specifically in its factory in Japeri, Rio de Janeiro, ensuring the preservation of its traditional formulas while expanding its presence to international markets like Paris and London.
