Woodforde's Wherry is a quintessential British Amber Ale produced by Woodforde's Brewery, based in Woodbastwick, Norfolk, England. First brewed in the early 1980s, Wherry has become the brewery's flagship award-winning beer, notably winning the CAMRA Supreme Champion Beer of Britain twice.

The brand was founded by Ray Ashworth and Dr. David Gurney, named after Parson James Woodforde, an 18th-century clergyman famous for his diary entries about food and drink. The brewery remains an independent entity, maintaining its deep roots in the Norfolk countryside and utilizing locally grown Maris Otter barley.

Today, the brand is owned and operated by Woodforde's Brewery (Woodforde's Broadland Brewery Ltd), which continues to brew the product in its original home in the United Kingdom. It is celebrated for its floral citrus notes and smooth bitterness, representative of traditional East Anglian brewing heritage.
