Torroni Baci is a legendary Italian confectionery specialty created by Cavaliere Innocenzo Borrillo in 1891 in the small village of San Marco dei Cavoti, located in the province of Benevento. This unique product differs from traditional soft nougat; it consists of a crunchy heart made of toasted almonds and hazelnuts bound with cocoa and sugar, which is then hand-coated with fine dark chocolate.
The brand has maintained its prestige for over a century, remaining a family-owned operation that preserves the artisanal methods and historical packaging. The product is still manufactured exclusively in its place of origin, San Marco dei Cavoti, Italy, where the original shop and workshop founded by Innocenzo Borrillo continue to operate. It is considered a symbol of Campanian confectionery excellence and remains under the direct stewardship of the Borrillo family heirs.
