Erasco Texas-Topf

Erasco is a traditional German brand known for its canned soups and stews. Founded originally as Paul Erasmi & Co. in Lübeck, Germany, in 1886, the brand name 'Erasco' was officially registered in 1950. The company has long been a staple of German pantries, maintaining its primary production facility in Lübeck at the Geniner Strasse site where it has operated since 1938.

Over the years, the brand has seen several ownership transitions. It was acquired by the American Campbell Soup Company in 1996, which later sold its European simple meals division to the private equity firm CVC Capital Partners in 2013, creating Continental Foods. In 2019, the Spanish multinational Agrolimen acquired Continental Foods through its subsidiary, GBfoods. Today, Erasco remains a key brand under the GBfoods umbrella, continuing its legacy of high-quality, convenient German comfort food produced domestically.
