Patricia is a historic Uruguayan beer brand originally created in 1936 by the Compañía Salus. Its origin is deeply linked to the Lavalleja department in Uruguay, specifically the city of Minas, where it was first brewed using spring water from the Sierras de Minas. For decades, it has been recognized as one of the premium beer choices in the Uruguayan market.

Today, Patricia is part of the extensive portfolio of Fábricas Nacionales de Cerveza (FNC), which has been the main beverage manufacturer in Uruguay for over a century. FNC itself is a subsidiary of the global beverage giant Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev), the world's largest brewer headquartered in Belgium. While the brand maintains its local identity and is still primarily produced in Uruguay to serve its domestic market, its ultimate corporate governance and strategic direction remain under the international umbrella of AB InBev.
