Snøfler are a quintessential Danish cake snack, easily recognized by their purple packaging and iconic chocolate coating with white stripes. These treats consist of a dense, truffle-like rum cake filling made from crushed biscuits and cocoa. Originally developed in Denmark, they have become a staple in the Danish snack market, known for their distinct taste and texture.

Today, the Snøfler brand is owned by the Danish bakery group Bisca A/S. All production takes place at Bisca's manufacturing facility in Stege on the island of Møn, ensuring that the product maintains its local heritage. The brand is currently owned by the investment company Scandza, which oversees several major Nordic food brands.
