Le Petit Prince is a popular biscuit brand inspired by the world-famous novella by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. It is produced by LU (Lefèvre-Utile), one of France's most iconic biscuit brands founded in Nantes in 1846. The biscuits are particularly known for their association with children's snacks in Western Europe.
The brand LU was originally a family-run French company before being acquired by several conglomerates over the decades. Since 2007, the LU brand, including the Le Petit Prince line, has been owned by the multinational snacks giant Mondelez International. While the heart of the brand's heritage remains in France, production occurs at various sites across Europe to meet international demand.
