Ballerina is one of Sweden's most iconic biscuit brands, originally launched by Göteborgs Kex in 1963. The brand gained immense popularity for its circular sandwich biscuits featuring a signature combination of nougat filling and a distinct flavor profile.

While the brand has deep Swedish roots, manufacturing operations moved from the historic factory in Kungälv, Sweden, to a modern production facility in Riga, Latvia, after a decision by the ultimate owner in 2022 to centralize production. Currently, the brand is owned by the Orkla Group, a leading Norwegian conglomerate that specializes in consumer goods across the Nordics and Baltics.
