Mynthon is a famous Finnish brand of throat pastilles, originally launched in 1976. The product shown is the 'Omena' (apple) flavor, part of the Original line, notable for its cooling sensation and sugar-free formulation. It has become one of Finland's most recognizable confectionery brands, often marketed for its refreshing and breath-freshening qualities.
While deeply rooted in Finnish culture, the brand is currently owned by Cloetta, a leading Swedish confectionery company. Although the brand's heritage is Finnish, the physical production of Mynthon pastilles is primarily located in Cloetta’s manufacturing facilities in Levice, Slovakia, which serves as a central hub for many of the group’s pastille and gum products.
