Solgryn is one of the most iconic Scandinavian breakfast brands, recognized by its classic sun logo. Originally established in Denmark as a way to provide nutritious, high-quality oat products to the mass market, the brand name literally translates to 'Sun Grains'. For decades, it has been a staple in Danish and Swedish households, primarily used for traditional oatmeal and the popular Danish dessert 'ymerdrys'.

While the brand has a deep Danish heritage, its industrial journey led it to become part of the multinational food conglomerate PepsiCo. Most of the production catering to the Nordic market takes place in Sweden at the Slussen mill in Falkenberg.
