Rexona, known as Sure in the United Kingdom and Ireland, and Degree in the United States and Canada, is one of the world's leading antiperspirant brands. The brand's origin dates back to 1908 in Australia, where it was created by a physician, Alice Sheffer, and her husband, Samuel Fuller Sheffer, who founded the Sheldon Drug Company.
Rexona was acquired by the British company Lever Brothers in 1929, which later merged with Dutch Margarine Unie to form Unilever. Today, Rexona is a global brand under Unilever's personal care portfolio. Manufacturing occurs in multiple locations worldwide, including significant facilities in Australia, the United Kingdom, and various countries in Southeast Asia and South America, to serve regional markets with its diverse range of aerosol, roll-on, and stick deodorants.
