Trivial Pursuit video game

Trivial Pursuit is a world-renowned board game originally created by Chris Haney and Scott Abbott in Canada in 1979. The game gained global popularity, leading to various adaptations, including the electronic version shown here for the Nintendo Wii. The video game adaptation was published by Electronic Arts (EA) under a licensing agreement with Hasbro, the current ultimate owner of the brand.

Today, the Trivial Pursuit brand is part of the extensive portfolio of Hasbro, a leading American play and entertainment company. While the physical discs and packaging for the Wii were produced in various global manufacturing hubs depending on the regional market (such as the USA, Japan, or Germany), the creative development for this digital version was handled by EA's studios. Hasbro continues to manage the Trivial Pursuit intellectual property from its headquarters in Rhode Island, USA.
