1000 Stories is a pioneering American wine brand known for its unique aging process in charred bourbon barrels. The brand was originally created in California's Mendocino County by winemaker Bob Blue. It is celebrated for its rich, bold flavors that combine traditional winemaking with the nuanced influence of American whiskey history.
Historically, the brand was a part of Fetzer Vineyards. In 2011, Fetzer Vineyards, including the 1000 Stories label, was acquired by the Chilean wine powerhouse Viña Concha y Toro. Today, 1000 Stories continues to be produced in California, maintaining its American identity while being supported by the global distribution and expertise of its South American parent company.
