Santa Maria Thyme

Santa Maria is a well-known food brand in the Nordic and Baltic regions, specializing in spices, seasonings, and ethnic food concepts. The brand was founded in 1911 as Nordfalks, a spice shop in Gothenburg, Sweden, which eventually grew into a major industrial player.

In 2001, the company was rebranded as Santa Maria AB and has since expanded its reach across Europe. Today, the brand is owned by the Paulig Group, a Finnish family-owned food and drink company headquartered in Helsinki. While Santa Maria has its roots and a major production facility in Mölndal, Sweden, a significant portion of its spice production and packaging currently takes place in Saue, Estonia, to serve the international market.
