It was developed by Laboratorios Indas, a company founded in 1950 in Spain that grew to become a leader in the domestic sanitary and hygiene market. In 2014, Laboratorios Indas was acquired by the multinational corporation Domtar, which later merged its personal care division with other entities to become part of the Attindas Hygiene Partners group. As of the current period, the brand falls under the ownership of American Securities LLC, a private equity firm that acquired the personal care business from Domtar. Production remains heavily centered in Spain, specifically at the large-scale manufacturing facilities in Toledo, which serve both the Spanish and international markets.
