Pukka Herbs was founded in 2001 by Tim Westwell and Sebastian Pole in Bristol, United Kingdom. The brand focuses on organic herbal teas and supplements based on Ayurvedic principles. While the herbs are sourced globally from sustainable and organic farmers, the processing and manufacturing of the final tea bags and packaging primarily take place in the United Kingdom. In 2017, the brand was acquired by the multinational consumer goods company Unilever. Unilever remains the ultimate owner, managing the brand through its tea division which was later rebranded as 'Lipton Teas and Infusions' but remains high-profile in the wellness category.
