Arabia Moomim mug Love

The Arabia Moomin mug collection is a highly collectible series produced by the Finnish brand Arabia, which has been part of Iittala Group. The 'Love' mug, featuring Moomintroll and Snorkmaiden in a pink landscape, is one of the most iconic and longest-running designs in the series, originally launched in 1996.

While the Arabia brand originated in Helsinki, Finland, in 1873, contemporary production of these ceramic pieces was largely moved to Thailand following the closure of the Helsinki ceramics factory in 2016. The brand is a core part of the Finnish design heritage, bringing the stories of Tove Jansson to functional household items.

The brand is currently owned by Fiskars Group, a global consumer goods company headquartered in Espoo, Finland. Fiskars acquired Iittala Group (which includes Arabia) in 2007, consolidating several historic Nordic design brands under one corporate umbrella.
