Halls is a globally recognized brand of mentholated cough drops and lozenges, originally developed in the United Kingdom during the late 19th century. Initially famous for its mentho-lyptus formula, the brand has expanded into various flavors, including the Citrus Mix with Vitamin C shown here. Today, Halls occupies a significant position in both the medicinal and confectionery markets worldwide.
The manufacturing of Halls products occurs in multiple locations globally to serve local markets, with major plants located in countries such as Canada, Brazil, Thailand, and Poland. Ownership of the brand has transitioned through major pharmaceutical and consumer goods companies over the decades, moving from the Hall Brothers to Pfizer, then to Warner-Lambert, and later to Cadbury. Since the acquisition of Cadbury, the brand is currently owned and managed by Mondelēz International, a major American multinational confectionery and snack food company. Mondelēz continues to distribute Halls as one of its power brands across nearly every continent.
