Ptasie Mleczko is a legendary Polish confectionery product consisting of soft milk soufflé or marshmallow-like centers covered in a thin layer of chocolate. The brand E. Wedel, which translates to 'Bird's Milk', was invented by Jan Wedel in 1936 and has since become one of Poland's most recognizable cultural exports in the sweets category.

The product is manufactured primarily in Poland at the Wedel factory in Warsaw. Despite its deep Polish roots and history reflecting the country's industrial heritage, the brand has seen various international owners over the decades. Following the privatization of state-owned enterprises and several corporate acquisitions, it is now part of a global confectionery portfolio.

Since 2010, the E. Wedel brand and its production facilities have been owned by the Lotte Group, a massive multinational conglomerate. This ownership provides the brand with extensive distribution networks, though the production remains centered in its historical home to maintain the authentic taste and quality associated with the Wedel name.
