Sanex is a well-known personal care brand that specialized in products designed for skin health. It was originally founded in Spain in 1984 by the company Cruz Verde with the mission to keep skin healthy. Over the decades, the brand became a staple in European households, expanding its range from bath gels to deodorants and lotions.
In 2011, the global consumer goods giant Colgate-Palmolive acquired Sanex from Unilever, which had previously acquired the brand's parent group. Today, Sanex is managed as part of Colgate-Palmolive's international portfolio. While the brand has Spanish roots, its manufacturing is distributed across Europe, with large-scale production facilities located in Italy and other regional hubs to serve the European market.
