Biotène toothpaste

Biotène is a widely recognized brand of oral care products specifically formulated for the management of Xerostomia, or dry mouth. The brand was originally established by Laclede, Inc. in the United States and gained popularity due to its 'Triple Enzyme System' which aims to replicate the protective qualities of natural saliva.

Over the years, the brand underwent significant ownership changes as part of the consolidation in the consumer healthcare market. For a long period, it was under the stewardship of GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). In July 2022, GSK spun off its consumer healthcare division to form Haleon, which now manages the brand globally. Biotene products are manufactured in several locations to meet international demand, with primary production facilities located in the United States serving most western markets.
