Duyvis Salted Peanuts

Duyvis is a historic Dutch brand with roots dating back to 1806, when Teun Duyvis founded an oil mill in the Zaanstreek region of the Netherlands. Initially focused on oil refining and cattle feed, the company evolved over generations, eventually entering the snacks and nut market for which it is now most famous. The brand became a household name in the Netherlands with its diverse range of peanuts, cocktail nuts, and dips.

In the late 20th century, Duyvis underwent several ownership changes. It was acquired by AkzoNobel and later became part of the Sara Lee Corporation in 1987. In 2006, the brand was acquired by PepsiCo, integrating it into one of the world's largest food and beverage portfolios alongside other snack giants like Lay's and Doritos.

Today, Duyvis products are primarily manufactured in the Netherlands, notably at its production facility in Zaandam. As a subsidiary of PepsiCo, Duyvis continues to be a market leader in the Dutch nut category while benefiting from the global distribution and marketing infrastructure of its American parent company.
