DALI (Danish Audiophile Loudspeaker Industries) is a renowned Danish high-end loudspeaker manufacturer founded in 1983 by Peter Lyngdorf. The brand grew out of Scandinavia's leading audio retail chain, Nordisk Hi-Fi (now HiFi Klubben), based on the belief that customers needed a combination of size, shape, performance, and price that existing brands could not provide.

While DALI designs, engineers, and manufactures its high-end flagship series at its own factory in Nørager, Denmark, its entry-level and mid-range products, such as the OBERON series, are manufactured at DALI's own production facility in China. This allows the company to maintain strict quality control while keeping pricing competitive for the global market.

DALI remains an independent company with its headquarters still located in Denmark. It is widely recognized for its proprietary technologies, such as the Soft Magnetic Compound (SMC) driver system and its distinctive wood fiber cones, which have helped establish it as one of the world's leading names in high-fidelity audio reproduction.
