The brand was originally launched in the UK market as Charmin by Procter & Gamble, but it was later rebranded to Cushelle following a change in ownership and licensing agreements.

The Quilted Tubeless variety shown in the image represents a sustainability initiative aimed at reducing waste by removing the cardboard inner core. This innovation allows for more paper per roll and eliminates the need for household recycling of the tube.

Today, the brand is owned by Essity, a global hygiene and health company headquartered in Sweden. Essity operates several manufacturing sites across the UK, including major facilities in Manchester and Skelmersdale, where the majority of Cushelle products sold in the British market are produced.
