The Pro-Émail line, known in English-speaking markets as Pronamel, focuses on strengthening and protecting tooth enamel from acid erosion. Originally created as a specialized medical brand, Sensodyne has become a household name distributed through major retailers worldwide.

The brand was originally developed by Block Drug, a US-based company, before being acquired by the British pharmaceutical giant SmithKline Beecham, which later became GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). Following a corporate demerger in 2022, Sensodyne's ownership transitioned to Haleon, a leading independent consumer healthcare company.
