Parodontax is a specialized dental care brand originally developed in Germany by a dentist, Dr. Focke, in 1937. The brand gained international fame for its unique formulation containing sodium bicarbonate and herbal extracts designed specifically to treat gingivitis and bleeding gums. For decades, it was a core part of the GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) consumer healthcare portfolio.
In 2022, GSK spun off its consumer healthcare division into a new independent company called Haleon. Haleon now operates as the ultimate owner of Parodontax, focusing exclusively on consumer health products. Parodontax is manufactured in various high-standard facilities across Europe and other regions to supply global markets. The packaging shown features Dutch labeling, indicating it is distributed for the Benelux market under Haleon's regional operations.
