Huesitos is one of the most iconic chocolate snacks in Spain. It consists of a series of thin wafer layers filled with chocolate cream and coated in milk chocolate. The brand name, which translates to 'Little Bones,' refers to its elongated shape and light, crunchy texture.
Originally created by the company Chocolates Hueso in Ateca (Zaragoza), the brand has undergone several ownership changes over the decades. It was famously owned by Cadbury and then Mondelēz International before being acquired by the Spanish company Chocolates Valor in 2013. Today, production remains centralized in Spain, maintaining the product's long-standing connection to its original manufacturing site in Ateca while operating under the umbrella of Valor, a leader in the Spanish premium chocolate market.
